January 21, 2017: The Free and Pro versions of the app are currently experiencing issues. The main problem has been resolved, and we are now focusing on several improvements. An updated version of the app will soon be submitted to the App Store.

The free version offers limited features and alerts. For a complete set of features and a TVOS App, we recommend considering the Pro version.

The Next Generation of World Earthquakes and NOAA Radar app has arrived, forming part of the Universal Purchase program. With one purchase, users can access NOAA Alerts on their iOS, watchOS, and Apple TV devices. The World Earthquakes feature provides up-to-date earthquake alerts categorized by color as follows:

• EQ 4.0 or larger: red
• EQ 3.0 or larger: purple
• EQ 2.0 or larger: orange
• EQ 1.0 or larger: blue
• All other EQ: green

iOS App Quick Start:

• Alerts load automatically upon app launch, sorted by date. Users can switch to sorting by importance for severity-based listing.
• View alerts globally on the map tab. Zoom in/out for detailed information and refresh alerts using the button provided.
• Choose alert categories/filters to focus on specific types of alerts on the map view.

US NOAA Radar images load upon app launch and refresh every 10 minutes, providing real-time radar views across multiple states.

To view Alerts in 3D:

1. Head to the Map tab where the 3D View is enabled by default.
2. Use gestures for zooming, rotating, and swiping to change viewing angles.
3. Tap on any alert to automatically zoom into the alert area and view details.

Watch App Quick Start:

• The Watch App syncs with the iOS App to display nearest earthquake information and allows users to initiate searches for earthquake locations.
